The Reception
Our reception is a standing reception with food being served cocktail style. We will have many passed hors d'oeuvres and small plates. There will be plenty of food served all night with a late night surprise. We will also be serving wedding cake made by long time family friend and wedding guest Ruth Jackson!
We are offering a shuttle service for our guests as parking will be extremely limited due to Hamilton's Supercrawl festival happening over the course of the weekend.
The shuttle will be departing from Gilbert's Big & Tall (439 King St. W) at 4:30 PM and will take guests to the ceremony and reception following. We invite you to leave your cars at Gilbert's Big & Tall to pick up at the end of the evening or on Monday.
We ask you to please let us know on your RSVP if you will be requiring the shuttle service.

​Q: Are plus-ones and children allowed?
A: It will be specified on your RSVP who we have included on your invitation.

Q:Is it ok to use our phones and post on social media at the wedding?
A: Please do not use your phones during our wedding ceremony, and we kindly ask you to refrain from posting our special day on social media. We are so excited to be fully present with all of our guests!

Q: If we are opting out of the shuttle and choosing to drive, is parking available?
A: There will be limited parking in and around the venue. Street parking is free on Sundays in the City of Hamilton.

Q: We are coming from out of town, where should we stay?
A: Thank you for making the journey! We recommend the following: The Laundry Rooms, Homewood Suites and The Hampton Inn.

Q: I will be coming in for the whole weekend, what can I do with my time?
A: There are lots of great things to do in and around the city! Supercrawl is a large festival happening downtown Hamilton, with lots of free concerts. We have some great local breweries, cideries and wineries (Collective Arts, Steeltown Cider, West Avenue Cider House, Rosewood Wines). The waterfront is lovely for a stroll, as is the Burlington waterfront. If you need a bite to eat here are some of our favourite restaurants: Berkeley North, Cima, The Mule, Bardo, Le Tambour Tavern.

Q: What is the dress code?
A: We want all our guests to be comfortable, but if you're looking for some guidance or inspiration we recommend cocktail attire! Men in suits and women in cocktail dresses.
